What is smart contract?
Smart contracts are programs and transactions protocol stored on a blockchain that run automatically when predetermined conditions are met. Next to that, smart contracts are the basis for the transference of cryptocurrency and digital tokens. For example, Ethereum blockchain’s ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens are smart contracts.
Smart contract tokens are used to create, track, and assign ownership rights to specific digital tokens existing on blockchain networks.
